While this is about a 20-minute drive, the food is worth every minute.  Mamie’s Café and Bakery serves breakfast and lunch.  The bakery is open until later in the afternoon, but the kitchen closes after lunch. Voted best donuts in the state and best Rueben sandwich, you have to eat there to understand how fantastic the food is.  Be sure to buy some delicious bakery items to take with you.  I highly recommend her Gobs. (Some people know them as whoopee pies!)  They are the best I have ever tasted!
