The Leaning Pear is a prime example of great eats and drinks available in the hill country. Other restaurants like Jobell’s, Wimberley Cafe, Ino’z Incorporated, Hays City Store, and many other great selections add to the mix.

David Bober left his native New York after visiting his brother in the hill country. He fell in love with the area, and decided to move his family from New York to the bucolic town of Wimberley. Using his construction skills, David poured his blood and sweat into remodeling a building on the north side of town to create Jobell Cafe and Bistro. The fabulous food, fantastic wines, and the personal service from David and his staff make for a memorable dining experience.
