Places to Play in Flagstaff
Historic Route 66 runs through the center of Flagstaff and is a great place for a selfie. Begin at the Flagstaff Visitor Center to get all the information and directions you need. The Visitor Center is also the Flagstaff Amtrak station, which is said to be haunted. Three walking tours of Downtown will educate you about the rich history of the region.
Segway tours are a fun and exciting way to see the city.
Lowell Observatory sits high on Mars Hill overlooking the city of Flagstaff. It’s a great place to observe the universe with naked eyes and with telescopes.
The Museum of Northern Arizona is a wealth of information from dinosaurs to Native American culture.
The Arizona Snowbowl Gondola is an exciting ride up to 11,500 feet on the San Francisco Peaks. Winter or summer, this excursion affords incredible views as far as the Grand Canyon.
Grand Canyon National Park is only 75 miles from Flagstaff. It’s an easy side trip with the Grand Canyon trip planner.
